Schools · Phones, PA and bells

Phones, PA and bells that work as one system.

Most schools have more communication hardware than they realize. We connect phones, paging, bells and alerts so one action reaches the right rooms, then keep it working.

One safety system
Phones, paging, bells and alerts planned together.
911 ready
Set up for Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act.
Phased upgrades
No need to wait for a remodel.
Common gaps

Where school communication breaks down.

Three separate projects

Intercom, PA and phones bought at different times from different vendors.

Every announcement is all-call

No paging zones for portables, gyms and outdoor areas.

Only the office microphone

Leaders cannot page from where they are when it matters.

No visual alerts

Noisy spaces, and people who cannot hear the PA, miss the message.

Dial-only classroom phones

Phones that could act as speakers and panic endpoints, but do not.

Alerts that stop at the app

A lockdown button that never reaches speakers, phones or strobes.

What we do

One plan for every way your school communicates.

We design it, install, and support the system - extending what works and replacing only what holds you back.

Students gathered around a microscope in a classroom
Platforms we have experience supporting include Algo, American Time, Bogen, Broadvoice, Grandstream, Poly, RingCentral, Sangoma and Valcom.

Listing them does not imply a partnership with, or endorsement by, these companies.

VoIP phone systems

Set up, moved and supported, with extensions your staff can update themselves.

Paging zones and IP speakers

Reach one wing, one building or the whole campus.

Bells, strobes and alert triggers

Tied into the same system, so one action drives speakers, phones and strobes.

Ongoing support

Configuration kept current as rooms move and wings change.

911 readiness

Is your phone system really 911 ready?

Federal rules expect more from school phone systems. We configure yours for Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act, then help you test it end to end.

Direct 911 dialing
Every phone reaches 911 directly, with no 9 or other prefix first.
On-site notification
Designated staff are alerted when someone dials 911, with a callback number and location.
Dispatchable location
Dispatch sees the building and room, not just the district's main address.

FAQ

Questions about phones, PA and bells.

Do we have to replace everything?

No. IP endpoints and adapters can modernize existing systems in phases, so you do not have to wait for a remodel.

Can classroom phones be part of our alert plan?

Yes. Configured correctly, classroom phones can act as speakers and panic endpoints, not just a way to call the office.

What do Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act require?

Direct 911 dialing with no prefix, on-site notification when 911 is called, and a dispatchable location such as building and room.

How are phone projects priced?

Phone installs and upgrades are quoted as projects, and can be bundled with support.
