It started with one small Montana school.
A conversation with a frustrated admin from a small rural school sparked Schoolhouse IT in 2011. Today we support schools, businesses, and nonprofits across Montana.

A school with no IT staff or budget.
A small Montana school needed technology support but had limited resources and no IT staff on payroll. We were moved to help. In 2011 James Krippes co-founded EduEcoSystems which later became Schoolhouse IT in 2013.
We know how fast technology evolves and how hard it is for K12 schools to keep up on a tiny budget. Since then we have partnered with school districts as their in house IT resource, bringing affordable IT best practices, and technical excellence to staff and students.
Schools first.
Then the organizations in our community.
Our commitment to schools has expanded to include businesses and nonprofits, both face similar technology challenges as K12.

Schools and districts
In house IT for districts across Montana, plus ERate support for Montana and Wyoming districts.

Businesses and nonprofits
Small and medium-sized businesses, and 501(c)(3) organizations keeping technology costs under control.
Plain talk, quick answers, no sales pitch.
Honest & straightforward
We know technology, but we don't try to impress anyone with geek speak or slick sales pitches.
Responsive & accountable
Friendly, responsive and hands-on: we pick up, follow through, and own it when something goes wrong.
Service, not products
We are committed to quality, affordable service rather than selling hardware you don't need.
Platforms we have installed, supported & managed.
We work with tools schools and offices already rely on, and our team installs, supports, and manages them every day. In some cases we've started partnerships with key providers that we believe in and benefit our clients.
These are platforms we have experience supporting. Listing them doesn't imply a partnership with, or endorsement by, these companies.
