What Will IT Support Cost for My School?

Let’s Keep It Simple.

At Schoolhouse IT, we believe you shouldn’t have to sit through a sales pitch just to understand what working with us might cost.

That’s why we’ve laid out some real-world examples. These aren’t made-up scenarios—they reflect actual support plans we provide to schools across Montana and the surrounding region. You’ll see what kind of support is included, and what typical costs look like based on your size and setup.

We’ll always talk through the details before we send you a contract, but this should give you a solid starting point.

FAQs

About Our Pricing and Services

Most schools start with one of our core support models—fully remote, hybrid, or co-managed—but we do adjust based on your staffing and budget. If you’re working within a set budget, we can help shape a plan that fits.

We support several schools completely remotely. Others choose to include regular onsite visits or call on us as needed. It depends on your school’s preference and the complexity of support required.

When onsite support is included, we can triage hardware issues, identify the right parts, and help you get things ordered. You only pay for the hardware itself—our help is part of your plan.

We rarely offer hourly tech support because we've found our fixed-fee contracts are more affordable and predictable for school budgets. Monthly packages give you complete coverage and peace of mind without surprise bills. On specific occasions, we can discuss a "bank of hours" arrangement.

Infrastructure upgrades, camera systems, phone installs, and other larger changes are quoted separately as projects. These are typically outside of monthly support but can be bundled where it makes sense.

There’s no built-in annual increase. We review pricing periodically, especially if service needs change or inflation pressures rise. But we always communicate changes clearly and ahead of time.

We can onboard your school any time of year. While some schools begin in summer or fall, we’ve also started support mid-school year without issue.
